It’s time to jump into the world of YouTube and see it for the powerful K-8 web tool that it is! In education, we have to figure out how to create web content with our students and still respect federal laws protecting the privacy of children under age 13. YouTube is a rich resource that can add a media platform, an instructional cornerstone, and a host to your classroom videos, but many schools and districts fear the unknowns of the tool. Get informed and arm yourself with awesome examples of how YouTube IS the right fit for the elementary classroom. Stop being a victim to the laws and restrictions and harness YouTube as the integral instructional Google App that it is.
